Overnight in a comfortable single, double or triple room in our guesthouse. All rooms have en suite bathrooms.
Because of the excellent food, most guests choose to stay with half or full board. But a stay with only breakfast is also possible.
You have use of the pool, can enjoy horse riding and relish the warm atmosphere.
You stay in a single, double or triple room in our guest house. The rooms are simple, but comfortable. All rooms have a private bathroom with sink, toilet and shower. It is possible to have a cot in your room. Ask for it when you make your reservation.
Almost every day there are half or full day rides you can sign in for at our place. Do bring with you a safety helmet, breeches and comfortable boots or sturdy (mountain) shoes and chaps.
During the tours we will ride through the varied landscape of the Dordogne: forests, grasslands, open fields and villages. The area is rugged, stony and slightly hilly. We will ride all gaits, but because of the rugged area we have a predominantly quiet pace.
Horseback riding rates
Half day ride of 2-2,5 hours 30€
Full day ride of 4-6 hours 60€

I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of my 3 night stay at this very casual and relaxed guesthouse with their lovely trail riding horses. Our hosts, Annabella and her team, provide such a welcoming and homelike environment that it feels like you are visiting your horsy country cousins (not that I have any) in France. Every home cooked meal was plentiful and delicious, enjoyed on a long table with all other guests which meant that everyone knew everyone. Some guests have been returning annually for far more than a decade adding to the family feel about the place. The horses are much loved, in excellent health and are well trained and suited for their job of carrying guests on beautiful trails through forests, open country and villages in the Dordogne region of France. Our group consisted of very experienced dressage riders and we enjoyed the horses which we considered to be suitable for all levels of riders from beginners onwards. Riding in the morning, lunch at a restaurant under an ancient tree in the local village and swimming in the afternoon is a particular delight. You won't be pampered here but you'll have everything that you need for a relaxing trail riding holiday in a beautiful part of France.
