In a calm spot in the Algarve, north of Faro, surrounded by almond and olive trees, is set Casa Agostos. The unique architecture and décor of this holiday home are the work of internationally renowned architect Pedro Domingos and is featured in several architecture and interior design magazines.
The concrete flooring, sharp, clean lines and a fresh approach to minimalist design contrast magnificently with the earthy, rural environment. The spacious and bright design with sophisticated décor give a warm and welcoming vibe, while the large windows offer uninterrupted views of the surrounding hills. The three large bedrooms, two bathrooms, and living areas merge seamlessly and can accommodate six people.
On the roof terrace and the various patios, you can enjoy the peaceful setting. The gorgeous elongated pool that is built into a concrete block contrast magnificently with the surroundings. From the house, you are in a few minutes in Santa Barbara de Nexe, a picturesque village with bars, restaurants, a supermarket, and a bakery plus you can reach the beach within 20 minutes.

Our second stay at Casa Agostos was with more people and that made it very "gezellig" and cosy. We enjoyed the well equipped kitchen and the BBQ since we all love to cook and to eat :)
We realized more neighboar noise than during our former stay in year 2013 due to the new built house next to Casa Agostos - before this it was more calm - but it was a minor notice.
Also the house is very claireraudient living there with more than two people - the doors are noisy when closing.
These are only minor remarks which did not affect our vacation in any negativ way.
We enjoyed the Algarve, the luxurious living in the villa and the garden very much.
Many thanks and we are sure to visit again!
Best wishes for you Kristoff
i doubted whether i should place a comment on "Casa Agostos" - not to let out the secret but i decided differently as my heart speaks out loud - still under the spell of our unforgettable stay. Do not know where to start the praise - is it the location? (isolated, impossible to find by GPS) or the moonlit sky? (no artificial light pollution all around except the lit trees in the meadow and the lit pool) the design furniture ?(Eames chairs, Grashopper Lamp /Greta Grossman, Acapulco Chairs to name but a few) so many places to daydream and relax - a daily fight over the hammock - design kitchen to die for (as was the food we prepared) roaming the markets each morning - returning home with our treasures, aperitif on the roof terrace, - BBQ squid, fish, lamb ... all that is on offer in Cockaigne=Portugal. 1/2 hour drive to stunning beaches (deserted in July !!!) Daniel the caretaker does any effort to please the guests - he even paid a Fine for me (and sent me the receipt by mail so i could prove that I've paid) the music system can be connected to your I-Phone I-pad or whatever tablet and we danced away the night to our own tunes. Cannot praise it highly enough
Eye Candy wherever you address your eyes to
