Gîte consisting of 3 separate cottages, which can be rented separately or together.
In the Ardennes and the Gaume in the south of Belgium, in one of the most beautiful villages in Belgium, the "Clos de la Fouchère" gîte in Torgny has been completely renovated as a winery. This village in Gaul is known for its microclimate, the sunniest in Belgium.
The Gîte includes 3 separate cottages in the village: House A accommodates a family or group of friends from 1 to 8 people, cottage B accommodates a couple with possibly 1 child, and completely new is the cottage C which is suitable for a family or group of friends from 1 to 8 people.
These 3 cottages are suitable for 1 up to 20 people. The 3 cottages can be rented independently from each other with all the individual comfort for each house, but can also be rented together because they are not far apart.
House A has its own courtyard, with tables, chairs and armchairs and is ideal for aperitifs and BBQ outdoors. House B has a small private terrace. House C has a small private courtyard with a table and benches.
House A contains a BAR A VIN, where you can discover different wines, mainly from the vineyards of Belgium, including those of Torgny, of course. From March to October it is always possible to visit the vineyard on Saturday mornings and from November to February it is possible to visit the co-operative cellar of Torgny by appointment.
The owner of the cottage restored "Clos de la Fouchère" in 2012 and 2013, the 18th century house which was in ruins is one of the oldest houses in the heart of the village of Torgny.
The cottage C is a small typical house in the village of Torgny with a yellow stone facade and dates from the middle of the 19th century (1853).
The name "Clos de la Fouchère" is the name of one of the 3 vineyards of Torgny with Le Poirier Du Loups and Le Clos de l'Epinette, the owner of the house is also the owner of the estate "Clos de la Fouchère" ; an area of 20 hectares.
For our cyclists, the region is a treat for sunny bike rides. Lovers of mountain biking, mountain bike ENDURO or QUAD will be able to enjoy themselves here to their heart's content. It is possible to consult a professional guide of the region to organize your trips and walks.

Torgny is an agglomeration of 220 inhabitants, it extends over the south-eastern slope of a valley dug by the Chiers and hangs on the soft slope of the third bajocean cuesta, characteristic of our relief. The Cuesta is an elongated hill with asymmetrical slopes that protect the whole village and at the same time its vineyards.
Torgny is, besides the microclimate, also famous for its gastronomy, because this small village has 3 restaurants, including the famous restaurant with the Michelin star "La Grappe d'Or". Torgny is also known for its village festivals such as the feast of craftsmen (around July 21) and the feast of St. Vincent, patron of the winemakers the first weekend of February.
A few kilometers from Torgny, it is possible to visit important tourist sites such as the Cathedral of Avioth, the abbey of Orval, the museum of Virton, the castle of Montmedy, the beer museum in Stenay, ...
Torgny is also a region with rural walks, from the cottage you are at the gateway to beautiful trails through the history of the region.
